NOTD
NOTD is a sensational Swedish production duo composed of Tobias Danielsson and Samuel Brandt. The two songwriters met on SoundCloud and began creating remixes together before they found out they would be attending the same high school. This inspired them to start performing as an artist named NOTD by combining the last two letters of each of their last names and reversing them.
Their remix of "Scars to Your Beautiful" by Alessia Cara was released in 2016 and was followed up by a remix of "Dark Side" by Phoebe Ryan in 2017. Their next remix (Stanaj's "Romantic") peaked at #91 in Australia and was followed by remixes of "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" (Shawn Mendes) and "Shape of You" (Ed Sheeran), which was nominated for an Electronic Music Award for Remix of the Year. They finally released their debut single "Summer of Love" in late 2017 and followed it up with the single "I Wanna Know" featuring Bea Miller, which garnered hundreds of millions of streams. This song charted in several countries, including Australia, Canada, and Sweden, and cemented the duo as international stars. Other recent hits include "So Close" and “I Don’t Know Why” as well as “Never A Good Time” off their latest self-titled EP.
